Mining & Metals:

Increasing production of critical minerals provides key components of clean energy technologies, from wind turbines to batteries. This shift to clean energy—and the need for commodities—is critical to underpinning the energy transition. At Bechtel, our teams extract these vital resources to support net zero in a way which is more sustainable than ever before.

Job Summary:

In this role, you will provide document management support by using ECMS (Enterprise Content Management Systems), distributing, maintaining, and retrieving project records in accordance with company guidelines. You will assist with customer service, questions, issues, updates, quality checks, and project closeout activities. Your attention to detail and data accuracy will help ensure successful compliance with document and records management procedures.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Serving as a member of the document management support group to support Enterprise Content Management Systems (ECMS) such as Aconex and InfoWorks and archival/retention management systems such as DocFinity, and other associated tools.
  • Assisting in determining requirements/expectations for integrations, and with preparing a plan to provide ongoing support .
  • Using standard Enterprise Content Management System (ECMS), archival/retention management systems, and/or SaaS applications to register, control, distribute, transmit and archive project records.
  • Interacting with end users to support, troubleshoot, and resolve issues.
  • Resolving access issues due to SSO or other authentication tools/processes.
  • Monitoring and ensuring timely closure of support tasks/incidents.
  • Supporting migration and/or upgrade events and may assist in validation processes.
  • May assist with implementing records retention and turnover plans.
  • May provide training on work processes and tools.
  • May interact with vendors and suppliers.

Education and Experience Requirements:

Industry experience gained through a recognized certificate or degree in a STEM-related field, and/or specialized courses in document management, Engineering or related fields with 3-5 years of experience, and/or 5 -10 years of relevant work experience.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Requires a strong blend of leadership, stakeholder management and analytical and technical skills.
  • Proficiency and experience in project document management, including procedural work, customer interfaces and records management.
  • Experience in the training of personnel
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Knowledge of Bechtel or EPC industry and regulatory standards for record keeping
  • Working knowledge of computer programs for records tracking, archival, retention, and storage
  • Familiarity with quality assurance programs and Documents, Records & Information Management (DRIM) requirements.
  • English language skills are desirable.
